“Inspired by the example of Jesus, Operation Food for Life seeks to provide physical, emotional and spiritual support, bringing dignity and hope to the poor, the forgotten and the disadvantaged.”
This is a snapshot of May 2017 activities continuing to help people in need in the Port Moresby region of Papua New Guinea. Clothing distribution, providing food for families living on the main rubbish dump for the city and food, comfort and contact with persons living with Aids in the main Port Moresby Hospital.
This in addition to providing support for:
- Nearly 40 children and youth now living in the Operation Food for Life “Sanctuary”.
- Students and Teachers at the OFFL established Rob and Jan Patterson Literacy School.
- Construction now taking place by OFFL at Kivori of a permanent early learning centre where 150 children are already enrolled and currently housed in a “bush school”.
