Powered Mobility Scooter presented by OFFL to Pacific Adventist University

Recently the Operation Food for Life team presented a new scooter to Pacific Adventist University, Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea for loaning to students who are mobility challenged attending the Campus.

The motorised scooter was sourced in Sydney and shipped up with donated clothing and goods to Port Moresby. This is a game changer!

Up until now, the University did not have a scooter to assist students who needed a “helping hand” and “helping feet,” to attend classes.

Pictured in the driver’s seat is Rupert Maven, a first-year mobility challenged student, who will now be able to attend classes and participate in Campus social events with confidence and comfort.

Proudly one of Operation Food for Life’s Community Service Projects in Papua New Guinea.
