Simple Act Changes the life of Daina

Meet Daina Malaga, 15 years of age, from Rigo Central Province in Papua New Guinea who resides with her family in a Military Barracks as her father is a soldier.

Daina suffered from meningitis which caused her to be crippled at 7 months old. Ever since then her parents struggled bringing her up and sometimes despaired but God had not forgotten her.

Through the Red Cross Special Education Co-ordinator Mr Joseph Kali, Operation Food for Life (OFFL) donated a “Walker” for Daina that has turned her life around.

This “Walker” has really transformed and given hope to Daina.

She was once isolated in the house but now she can enjoy outdoors with her “New Walker”. What a joy to see another life touched by OFFL.
